I am a freelance food writer, recipe developer and more recently, product reviews for a national newspaper and BBC Good Food. I have a proven track record in content development and management and as a food writer for over 20 years, am the author of 3 food books (number 4 due Spring 2020). I was voted one of the top 50 food writers in the UK.
As well as seven years as Food and Wine Editor at Yorkshire Life magazine, I have written for many leading magazines including Waitrose Food Illustrated and Olive and have an enviable job as restaurant critic for the Yorkshire Post Saturday Magazine. For five years, I worked for the New York Times Company writing extensively on-line about British and Irish Food.
I work remotely from my home in North Yorkshire, where I live with my husband and occasionally have a house full of kids and family to feed, which I love. For downtime, I enjoy yoga, am a keen sculptor when I can find the time and love nothing more than pottering about in the garden.
