I had put my growing fatigue of tasting menus behind me when at The Park in York and, for the most part, glad that I did. You can find out exactly what I did think though when confronted once again with one. Could it possibly be better than my recent encounters, or, even worse?

Your Ultimate Steak & Kidney Pie recipe makes no reference to a layer of pastry lining the pie dish, yet it is clearly shown in the illustration. Could you please clarify that the pie filling is encased with a top and bottom layer of pastry?
